Please try this :

press menu
press down arrow button (until you see System Setup)
press menu to highlight 'splendor demo mode'
press menu again and you see On/Off
press down arrow until OFF is highlighted
then press the try me button (leftmost) twice to turn off menu

I did not find a video that worked. There was 1, but it ran thru too fast and I couldn't read it.

Please click on start, control panel, appearance and personalization, click display then screen and resolution

now click on the advanced settings, go to the asus tab then asus splendid and uncheck enable asus splendid

First...in control panel there is just personalization - not appearance and personalization - 2nd...no screen and resolution, 3rd...there is advanced settings, but no asus tab , no asus splendid or enable. I am on Windows 7. What os are you referring to?

Yes I know, I'm sorry but This is the only solution that i can give you, please try to contact asus support at : http://support.asus.com/ServiceHome.aspx?SLanguage=en

or try again the previous solution : (you can try more than 5 times, that should fix the issue)
