you may be able to set the app to only backup when you are connected to wifi
otherwise you can just uninstall it.
what type of phone are you using?
yes i figured that much.
is it an android or an iphone ?
oh. ok now i got it.
if that is the only broad band that you have anything that does a data backup is going to be using your data plan.
you would need to either go to a larger plan or uninstall the idrive program. It will be a lot cheaper to just back stuff up to a flash drive.
All you really need is the stuff from your documents folders with your pictures and music and documents. the stuff that is yours alone and can not be re installed. even just copying the folders to a flash drive will work.
this page has instructions on how to cancel the idrive account. you want to do that BEFORE you uninstall the idrive. just click on the link for "how do i cancel my account"
As for the program you want to go to the
control panel / programs
double click on the idrive and select uninstall
