I purchased a new Windows Computer approximately 18 months

Good morning, I purchased a new Windows Computer approximately 18 months ago which I love, EXCEPT! I am practically computer illiterate and I don't understand how to obtain a Microsoft ID number to use on programs. It seems that now with Windows 10 more and more applications ask for my "Microsoft ID". Is this a number that once I have it I can use it for all applications or do I have to register for a new number for each application.

I'm sorry about the issue. To fix Internet Explorer, please do the following:

  1. Close Internet Explorer program for now.
  2. Right-click on the Start icon (which is the windows logo icon located near the lower left corner of the screen), then click on Control Panel.
  3. Then open Network and Internet if available, then open Internet Options.
  4. Then click on Delete, and delete only temporary internet / website files.
  5. Then click on the Advanced tab, and click on the Reset button, then Reset button again.
  6. Then close, and open internet explorer, and check.
