microsoft edge does not work at all, msg says trial period expires for app, no email connections as there is no respose. Can you help? downloaded a few days ago but seems like there are things missing, download did not go well, can I re-install and how do I get the download? thank you, willard

Hi, and thank you for asking your question.

First off, please right-click on the Start button at the bottom-left corner, and select "Command Prompt (Admin)".

In the Command Prompt window, type in powershell and press ENTER.

Next, highlight the following command with your cursor, and then right-click and copy the full command:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Next, right-click and paste the command in the Command Prompt window, and press ENTER.

Wait for the process to complete. You will know it is complete when you see the "PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> _" appears at the bottom of the window.

Done that, close the Command Prompt window first, and then open up MS Edge browser. This should resolve your issue all right.
