I have just upgraded to Windows 10 on two different

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 on two different computers. Both were running and old version of Wordperfect (Office X3). Wordperfect works on one of the computers but not on the other. Everything seems to work except it will neither open nor save a file I get the beachball and have to close the program with Task Manager (not responding)

Hello,

I am the person that will be helping you today.

If you right click the WordPerfect shortcut and choose "Run as Administrator", does the application work correctly? If so, please follow the instructions below. If it doesn't work, then skip to the 2nd set of instructions I typed below.

If it works when you run as administrator, do the following to fix the problem:

- Right click the Shortcut and choose Properties.

- Click the Compatibility tab

- Put a check in the box that says "Run as administrator"

- Click Ok

If running as administrator didn't fix the problem, please do the following to fix the problem:

- Right click the Shortcut and choose Properties.

- Click the Compatibility tab

- Put a check in the top box for running in compatibility mode.

- In the top pull down menu, choose "Windows XP"

- Click Ok
