Unplug the video cable and the power cable from the monitor

connect the video cable to the monitor end and make sure its connected fine and then connect the other end on the computer

once you are sure the video cable is connected fine then you connect the power cable and turn on the computer.

press the menu button on the monitor and look for factory default settings and set it to factory defaults.

sorry its an auto button comes up analog box in top corner then a roving box which says check hdmi cable

please check the cable its analog and not hdmi if you have selected hdmi it will not pick the vga signal.

Initially, confirm that this is a monitor issue:
• check/replace the VGA cable
• try connecting another computer/laptop using the VGA connection;
• try connecting another source such as a DVD or Blu-ray player using the HDMI connection.
Please post back results / observations of the above once tried.
