I have just travelled half way around the world on a cruise

I have just travelled half way around the world on a cruise and had been able to transfer all my photos up until the last two days from my camera to my I Pad.
My devise showed various things, too much power, note enough power and a surcharge to the hub (whatever all this means).
Am now home and I can't even transfer my camera to my home computer.
Any clues, the technician at Harvey Norman suggested that it was my camera.

Just to be more clear you have all your photos on your i-pad is that correct.
when you connect the ipad to the computer it comes up with error messages, let me know you get the error messages on the ipad screen or on the computer screen.
