My computer is stuck on the start screen does not respond to keyboard or mouse. I shut it down and does same thing. Any solution?

let me know on which screen you are stuck on i would like to know the screen on which its frozen.

It is stuck on the start screen. It logs me on then gets stuck on that screen. Where apps are and windows logo will not respond to mouse or keyboard.

unplug the computer power cable remove the mouse and keyboard, unplug them.
Push and hold the power button for 30 second on the computer while the power cable is unplugged make sure the power cable is not connected while you are performing this step.
wait for 2 mins after pushing and holding the power button for 30 seconds reconnect the power cable and the keyboard and mouse and power it on in a normal way as you do to turn on the computer.
