Hello! I am IT Miro and I will assist you on this question.

Please remove the laptop battery and connect the power cable.
Will it boot now?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Already tried that. When I pull battery green charge light goes out.
Expert:  IT Miro replied 2 years ago.
The laptop should work perfectly without a battery.
Are you saying that it won't power on at all?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Correct I get some white lights and then they go out. Never powers up. I even held the power button for 30-45 secs.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Brand new notebook. Just pulled out of box
Expert:  IT Miro replied 2 years ago.
Something is wrong there.
Does the same happen when you try to power it on only when the battery is connected, without the power adapter?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes.

I think it is safe to assume that the power supply has failed or some other component.
The laptop should power on just fine without a battery, and you should hear a fan spinning once you press the power button.
If none of that happens, you have a non-working laptop. It's strange that you received it in such condition if you say it is a brand new.
Assuming it is under warranty, I suggest you to call the shop you bought it from and explain to them that you got a non-working laptop, or just go there and return it immediately.
