Okay. Can you please try this. Unplug everything from the machine and then hold down the power button for 30 seconds. After that, plug everything back in and try turning on again

Try unplugging and plugging in the keyboard into a different USB port. It may take several minutes for the computer to recognize and install the right driver for it
JACUSTOMER-tbnsqlg7- : Still not working. This has happened before and then all of a sudden it worked.

Do you have another keyboard you can try on the computer to help isolate if it's the computer or the keyboard?
JACUSTOMER-tbnsqlg7- : No, I got rid of the old stuff. Now the password ***** has 6 dots there from me trying to put in the password, but it is stuck, the cursor is gone and my password ***** 10 characters.

Sounds like it was stuck and then unstuck temporarily. Try restarting the computer normally OR by holding down the power button to force it off

Okay. If the problem is reoccurring, then it's likely a hardware issue and you should be able to have it replaced under the warranty, which is good for 1 year. I can get you the information if you'd like for ASUS
