Joshua C. :

Thank you for using JustAnswer.com my name is XXXXX XXXXX I am going to assist you today

Joshua C. :

The image you would like to include in your signature needs to be located online somewhere

Joshua C. :

or html embed code will not work

Joshua C. :

The standard html code for embedding images is

Joshua C. :

<img src="http://website.com/image.jpg">

Customer:

hello. Yes I understand but I need the image to be non-directing to any external pages. I don't want it to be clickable. Is that possible?

Joshua C. :

<img src="http://website.com/image.jpg">

Joshua C. :

That is just an image embed it does not include a clickable link

Joshua C. :

A clickable image link would look like

Joshua C. :

<a href="myfile.htm"><img src="rainbow.gif"></a>

Joshua C. :

The code "a href" defines a link

Customer:

where would I upload it then? because some image hosting company generates its own url. Where would you recommend me to do?

Joshua C. :

Use http://imgur.com/

Joshua C. :

after uploading you will be given some options

Joshua C. :

Copy the direct url link to your image that is uploaded (it will end with .jpg or whatever file type you uploaded)

Joshua C. :

Then use

Joshua C. :

<img src="http://website.com/image.jpg">

Joshua C. :

And replace the http://website.com/image.jpg with your image link

Joshua C. :

Then put that code in your blogger signature

Customer:

can I try that now? because I'm not sure

Joshua C. :

That is an example of a random image being used

Joshua C. :

Yes you can try this now

Customer:

yes! thaaank you for your genuine help! It worked! may I ask another question? or should I schedule another appointment?

Joshua C. :

What is your question?

Customer:

I see a lot of famous people have their own signatures... do you think that they used the same process? or is there another way? because the picture I uploaded looks like a picture rather than merely a signature

Joshua C. :

They sign on a tablet then a photo specialist takes the file and cleans it up

Joshua C. :

There are services online that allow you to make signatures

Customer:

yes I have used that... its just that it produces a subtle 3D borders... I don't know how to take the signs only

Joshua C. :

The professional way to do it is in an image editor program such as photoshop

Joshua C. :

or GIMP which is free

Joshua C. :

but you have to have a steady hand using a mouse

Customer:

www.gimp.org

Joshua C. :

Correct

Customer:

then I'll to use that

Customer:

okay thank you for your extra help!

Joshua C. :

Your are very welcome =)
