when I make a video call on skype the other party can not hear

Resolved Question:

when I make a video call on skype the other party can not hear my voice...i can hear theirs...what is wrong? My microphone seems to be working

Thanks for contacting I am Cris and will assist you with your question.

In Skype click on "Tools" at the top of the window, then click on Options.

The options window will open, click on Audio Settings on the left pane. Next to Microphone click on the drop down and select the webcam mic. Once it's selected you should see the volume lever move when sound is picked up.

When done click Save and the person chatting with should now hear you. Let me know the outcome.
