When did this problem start?

Its happened on several occassions in the last two or three days when I tried to open various programmes but the automatic solution solving system has resolved it until I tried to open my Olympus Master 2 programme and the auto solution did not resolve it

Ok.

Please click start->all programs->accessories

Right click on command prompt and select run as admin

Then type sfc /SCANNOW in comand prompt and press enter

Let the system fix itself.

Your solution did not resolve the problem.

It said windows Resource did not find any integrity violation

Try a system restore to a date before the problem started.

Click start->all programs->accessories->system tools->system restore.

Sorry but that didn't work either. Got an additional message "resident module stopped working"
