It will ask for your Admin password to install and modify system components - because unlike Windows, Mac's do not let programs do what ever they want to the system.
Apps on Mac cannot modify system files without the admin password XXXXX there is absolutely no way around that. That is what makes writing malware for macs so difficult.
So please try with a blank password XXXXX you do not have any password XXXXX admin user. I think then all your browser windows will be closed and flash player installation will continue.
If blank password XXXXX accepting and you don’t remember your administrator password, you can reset it using the Mac OS X installation disc.

Insert the Mac OS X installation disc into your computer’s optical drive (or an optical drive connected to your computer), and then double-click the Install Mac OS X icon.

When the Language Chooser appears, select your language, and then click the Continue button (looks like an arrow).

In the Installer, choose Utilities > Reset Password.

Follow the onscreen instructions to change the password.
