OK, thanks,

So you want to set up your AOL account on your iphone correct?

I have my aol account on my i-phone. I do not have my email list in it's entirety . i.e. when i type in the first few letters of an email address, all the choices on my laptop do not show up on my i-phone. Thoughts?

OK, I am going to opt out and let other experts view this. Sorry I couldn't help.

I can try and help you with this. You need to go to this website and sign in with your aol account.

http://aolsync.aol.com/main.do

Then click on register your device.

After you add your phone number, click on the phone number.

Select your phone service provider and apple for the manufacturer and push continue.

Select your iPhone model and push continue.

Then click on configure sync.

You will get instructions to load the FUNAMBOL app on your phone, then sign in with you AOL account username and password. Change the Server URL to http://msync.aol.com/sync

See this page for more details.

It froze up after the configure sync. step...suggested I "try later" ....which I did, and hit the same wall
Expert:  PCDrMiller replied 5 years ago.

You should be able to skip to downloading FUNAMBOL from the App store, then sign in with your aol username and password XXXXX change the server to

http://msync.aol.com/sync

Please try that next.

Unfortunately, Apple has informed me that the iphone is designed to input only those email addresses used on that iphone...TY
Expert:  PCDrMiller replied 5 years ago.

Ok, the method I was trying to explain to you is to sync your AOL address book to the contacts on your iPhone. When you start to type an email address into your computer and it has been used before and pops up, this is a local cache copy on your computer and would not be transferable.

However, if you have the addresses you desire saved in your aol contacts, then this method should enable you to sync the aol address book to your iPhone.

Thank you.
