usually this error is given on a broken shortcut

TaylorTech :

Try going into the rosetta stone directory and clicking the .exe file and try to run it there

Customer :

Do not see the file .exe

Will need to find the main launch file in the folder

Typically is .exe but may be different

There is nothing in the file to open resetta stone, been trying for two days

ok how did you perform the uninstall?

Went Control panel and click on programs and features and selected Rosetta stone and uninstalled it could not reinstall it

When you try to reinstall what happens?

Nothing, the install application is missing from the disc

when you put the cd in, do you get a prompt to start install?
