Sir what happens when you try to login to your Gmail account?do you get any error message?

the gmail site is not available. AVG butts in but can't help.

there just does not appear anyway to get to gmail

I can use googlemaps, that works fine. But if I click on gmail while in maps, nothing works. Have used "dogpile' to go to internet and google info. Click on gmail there and nothing happens. They appear to have left town!!

I am not computer bright, but try and sneak around and come in different doors. They are all shut. Isn't this sort of criminal to prevent access to my mail. Look at all the other poor souls.

sometimes AVG does this and add entries in hosts file which blocks the web sites i removed that blocking

My computer is set up that the gmail goes to my Outlook Express. I will try that

I'm having trouble getting my Quicken program to work. I downloaded it, and when I try to open in I get to a screen asking me to Sign in with my Intuit ID. The box where the sign in should be is blank. A big white box of nothing. I was able to go to the file tab and tried to set up a new account. I filled in my user id# ***** psw for my bank and instead of connecting me to the bank, it simply highlights my user id#.
