hello again, don't worry, it will work.
were you able to uninstall your office programs from the programs section?
office programs uninstalled,
file downloading is x16-32007.exe from that site.
not sure is ok
is it on your desktop now?
if yes, please double click on it and install.
This is not a valid Office Product Key
Hi, I have been told product keys expire and need to get a new one, is that right??
nearly midnight, am going to bed now, will leave everything as is,
please let me now when you come back. so we can continue.
Hi Jerry, what does FPP in the bottom right corner of the product key label mean, bit concerned i've been sold a product I can't register if I can't contact the person who sold it to me,
it must be a key which has 25 digits. like this:
is it like that ?
Yes, looks like quite a few people with the same problem
are you sure it is OFFICE 2010 PROFESSIONAL?
(there is also office 2010 professional plus)
It only has Orrice Professional 2010 on the disc and the box.
additional number on the DVD is X16-11455-01
can you go to this page
and click on the download button and follow on-screen instructions carefully.
no , it does not matter.
did you enter the key on this page?
The key was inside the sealed disc box where it was on the last office program I purchased
having problems, put in product key and half way though install, came up with error
Setup cannot find ProPlusr.ww\ProPrWW.cab
Browse to a valid instalation source, and then click OK
DVD Drive F Office 14
the files are there
Installing Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010
this is the first time I have seen any reference to Office Professional Plus
have installed it, tried to activate online
This product cannot be activated because the product key is not valid
will try to activate by phone to see if I can talk to anyone about the product key when it fails.
Its 1.15 am now so going to bed
Thanks for your help Jerry
will continue to try and contact the people who sold it to me see if I can make them feel guilty in scamming me, fat chance
ok, if something goes wrong, please let me know.
we can request a new key from microsoft.
How do We request a new key as I'm not having any luck with the people I purchased the program off.
this is microsoft supplemental parts team:
you can call them and request a new key.
Hi Jerry, not having much fun, not sure where to go, short of waiting till morning and trying to phone support somewhere.
these are the numbers if it helps
product id: 02XXX-XXX-XXXX071-49120
product key: 8W2RP-HBMQY-MMG4K-BDQ96-63F2X
i was able to validate your product key. it is working.
please download this:
After it installed, I tried to activate it, same error, Invalid product key.
I spoke to a microsoft technician, unless i can get a replacement product key from whom I purchased it, I'm screwed so to speak.
Thanks for your help
let's go step by step.
can you download it to your desktop.
after the download please let me know (don't run it)
Am uninstalling office, will take minimum of 1/2 an hour to download file
file saved to desktop now
can you right click on the file. and select properties. what is its filesize.? (in mb)
now please right click on it and select run as administrator.
when you are in "please enter your key" part, please let me know.
Product Key is in, do I uncheck box, Attempt to automatically activate my product online,
or just click continue
from here the program normally installs, then I open an Office program and click on activate, then run into problems with invalid product key
yes, please uncheck that box and continue.
what happened when you tried to activate by phone? did you call them and request a key?
I got a not valid product key again,
last time I phoned customer support they told me it is a subscriber product or such and i will have to talk to the person who sold it to me
did you try to use the new key? GKCYD-RMGW9-G26WC-XWXDM-RJHM4
yes i tried that first when the disc arived thinking he may have only used one of the 3 licences and was just onselling it with licences to spare, he sent me the new sealed disc when I complained about the product key not working and the fact the disc was used
It's after 1.00am so am going to bed now
I havn't been able to contact the person who sold me phe program, He has sold a ot of office and windows programs.
So it looks like I'm stuck, can't see any way of getting another product key if I can't contact him, Microsoft help have told me I need to contact him. Thanks
