my acer aspire 7736z-4088 suddenly lost power and will not

my acer aspire 7736z-4088 suddenly lost power and will not power back up when i push the power button,it intially tried to power up the first time i tried but only lasted maybe 20 seconds now it will not do anything battery had a full charge i checked it out on another acer laptop i had and it works fine
power cord seems to have a good coneectionreddish orange litght on front of laptop is only thing thant lights up

TRIED THAT FIRST and switched battery out wiyh my other acer compth batteries work in my other acer computer

black screen went dead only light with power cord only is small red light at front on laptop

nothing held it down for 45 seconds also with no battery or cord connected and then hooked power cord back and tried it again

remove the back panel and remove RAM and reinsert carefully

then power ON

i dont know how to do that and i dont think i would be comfortable trying that

Its easy

just unscrew the screws from the small back panel to access and remove RAM

then reinsert carefully

FYI ...this is a problem either from motherboard or RAM faulty not the battery
