Am trying to install HP Photosmart Wireless e-All-in-One B110 series printer. The wireless side went in OK but was unable to connect to PC. Showed no. of errors in C:\windows\inf
these were USB inf version 5.1.2600.0 and I think it was contclos inf version 5.0.2183.1

1. Network Name (SSID)

Follow these steps to connect the product to your wireless WLAN 802.11 network:

1. Press the Wireless button on the front of the product.

2. Touch the Right Arrow button to select Wireless Settings , and then touch OK .

Customer:

3. Make sure the wireless radio is on.

  • If the blue LED light on the Wireless button is lit, wireless radio is on.





  • If the blue LED light is not lit, touch OK to select Enable Wireless .

4. Touch the Right Arrow button to select Wireless Setup Wizard , and then touch OK .

The Wireless Setup Wizard searches for networks, and then displays them in a list.

5. Touch the Right Arrow button to select your network name (SSID), and then touch OK .

The product wireless setup wizard provides instructions to configure the wireless connection. Follow the instructions on the product control panel, or continue with the following steps.

no did not complete at all after throwing up what I have just described

Is the computer that you are installing the software to, connected to the internet wirelessly or wired?

No the computer I am using is not connected to the internet wirelessly But wired

Although the BT hup I amj using is a wireless Hub

In the previous steps that I gave you, regarding connecting the computer to the wireless network, were you able to connect the printer to the wireless network?

Yes. It then aske me to install the CD. I have just doubkle checked the Hub and there is an ethernet connection to my tower by USB

yes and it was entered. when I had problems earlier I had to reset wireless agin and it accepted

Ok.... So the problem here is that the installation process did not complete because of an error

At the moment the Wireless light is on on the printer

Ok... Is the printer connected to the computer through a USB cable or not?

Customer:

Yes it is

Ok... Let us now redo the process WITHOUT connecting the printer to the USB

I have recently checked the usb ports and according to the system they are OK

Please unplug the printer's USB cable from your computer

Ok sorry to be a nuisance

That is okay. From the very start, when setting up the wireless printer, you do not need to connect the printer via USB since it will interfere with the wifi setup. I am sorry if I did not remind you of that

Cleanup with CCleaner

After you download the free tool, install it and run the scans and tests. By default, it runs CLEANER to cleanup from all system mess which includes all unwanted files, temporary files, temporary internet files, orphaned files and more. Make sure that all this mess that the Cleaner program has detected is removed. This will free up some space in your hard drive while speeding up your system as well.

Next, run REGISTRY Cleaner and fix the found problems. Run this REGISTRY cleaner several times and fix the issues until no issues will be found.

In order to run the Registry cleanup mode, open CCleaner, then look at the left panel of the CCleaner window. Locate and click the Registry link there and that should give you the Registry cleanup mode. Then click on the Scan for issues button. When the scan reached 100%, click FIX issues to remove the errors from your system. Then click the Scan for issues again then FIX whenever issues are still found. When no issues are found, close CCleaner.
