I have a dell inspirion m5010 and want to restore to factory settings, how do i do this?

Matt :
Thanks for the clarification.

Your system should have a hidden recovery partition that you can use to recover the system to factory settings. To access this, please restart the computer. At the Dell splash logo, press and hold the Ctrl key and tap F11 for a couple of times. This should take you to Dell PC Restore by Symantec screen. Select Restore and click Confirm. This will take some time to complete and reset your computer to the factory defaults.

Backup your system first as all data would be erased.

Hope this helps.

JACUSTOMER-kg37rdu5- :
ok thank you

Matt :
It's my pleasure.
