so server port numbers for SBCGlobal.net are PO3 = 995 and SMTP = 465??
incoming server port - 995
outgoing smtp server port - 465

Ok, add your email account once again, making sure to use the correct settings as follows:Incoming (POP): pop.att.yahoo.com Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.att.yahoo.com (requires authentication) Incoming mail server type: POP3 Incoming/Outgoing User Name: Full email address, including domain ([email protected]Incoming mail port #: 995, secure connection (SSL) checkedOutgoing mail port # XXXXX secure connection (SSL) checked Done that, select 'Always use this profile: <your newly created profile>', and click Ok.Done that, re-open Outlook, and let me know how you get on.
Remove the existing profile first.
