That was a bogus service, and NOT from Microsoft; Microsoft will never call/email you personally unless you ask them to, such as request a support case.
If you purchased any sort of service from them, or provided them with your CC details, please get in touch with your CC department immediately, and notify them about your situation; also, don't communicate with them any further.
Also, as a fair precaution, let's make sure your computer is completely free from malware.
Now, please download the following freeware (don't buy anything) security program, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
Download, run and install the same, then carry out a full system scan using the program, and remove the security threats detected, if any.
One more thing I would like to advise you about - there are a lot of rogue, fake security programs/services out there which will prompt you with false security notifications in order to trick the user into buying their programs. If you run into any of these programs/services at anytime, and are not sure if they are legit or not, just open up a search engine, i.e. Google, Bing, etc., and type in the concerned program's name. In the search results that comes up, you will be able to determine from the first couple of results itself, if the program is rogue or not.
