Hi, and thanks for using JustAnswer.

Add this page to your Favorites/Bookmarks first, so as to get back to me anytime later on, if needed.

Do you get this error when opening up the AOL program, or randomly? Also, when did you start having this issue?

Regards
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
when I run aol or juct connectied to my cable line
Expert:  Bryan replied 6 years ago.
Okay. First off, please go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, then look for and use the 'AOL Uninstaller' to remove AOL accordingly.

Done that, download and reinstall the latest version of AOL using the following link:

http://daol.aol.com/software/aoldesktop96/

Let me know how you get on with the same, and if this resolves your issue all right.

I deleted 9.6 and went to 10.1 and it error is still popping up
Expert:  Bryan replied 6 years ago.
All right. Now, please download the Revo Uninstaller Utility using the following link:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Done that, run and use the utility to look for and uninstall any reference to Java accordingly. Make sure to right-click on the Java entry, and click the 'Uninstall' option to remove it, as well as select and remove all traces of the registry entries left, listed in the process.

Done that, reinstall an older version of Java using the following link:
http://www.oldversion.com/download_Java_Platform_5.0_Update_15.html

Let me know if this resolves your issue with the runtime error in AOL.

Okay that worked and instulled So far no error window
Expert:  Bryan replied 6 years ago.
Good, that's a known issue with the latest Java update; the issue should not recur for the time being; just make sure NOT to update Java until it comes out with the next new release.
