This happens if the site gets edited before it is fully loaded. Which as you are responding to a message you are esentially changing the page before it has fully loaded. This happens on script based websites. Here is an in depth explanation of it: Click Here

In short refresh the page then when you click to reply do not type anything. Wait for the browser to say done in the lower right hand corner. Then start typing the message and the error should not come up.

Refreshing did not help when I try to reply to a message on Ebay I get the following :

HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917)

Refresihing brings the same message. This only happens on 1 of my computers on othes I have no issues

Did you allow the page to load fully before typing or did it just automatically come up?
What version of windows are you using and what internet browser are you using?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

The page comes up blank then the message pops up. This just started yesterday no issues prior to that

Ok please bookmark or favorite this page so you can get back to me.
Then try this and let me know the results.
Click on tools and then internet options.
On the general tab under browsing history click on delete.
Make sure cookies and temporary internet files are checked.
The rest you can leave unchecked.
Then click on delete.
Once done test ebay again and see if the problem is still there.
