i have used hotmail until i get qtel. many of my business people in canada are using this hotmail address and I'm still finalizing business in canada during this transition

It looks like your email account violated one or more of Windows Live's Terms of Service, i.e. sending spam emails, etc., leading to it being blocked.

From Windows Live Support:


If you think that your e-mail account has been blocked in error, contact Customer Support and ask to have your e-mail account unblocked:


  1. Go to Windows Live Support.

  2. Under Standard Services, click Windows Live Hotmail.

  3. Type your full name, the e-mail address where you want the reply sent, and the e-mail address of the blocked account.

  4. In the What type of problem do you have? box, select Sign In/Connection.

  5. In the next list, select Unable To Connect.

  6. In the next list, select Other.

  7. In the Be specific when describing your problem box, type:
    <ul class=&#34;INSTRUCTION_LIST&#34;>
  8. The error message that you received when you tried to send or receive e-mail.


  9. Your computer's IP address.

That's the only way to get back to your account. As Hotmail is a free service its support team is not that much responsive. Try to answer as far as you can. Give genuine and truthful answers to their queries.

The box where the sign in should be is blank. A big white box of nothing. I was able to go to the file tab and tried to set up a new account. I filled in my user id# ***** psw for my bank and instead of connecting me to the bank, it simply highlights my user id#.
