Hello. Welcome to JustAnswer.

Are you referring to the web based version of GMail ( or GMail through a program like Outlook or Live Mail?

Also, is the "freezing" only related to GMail or does it happen at other times?

When did this start happening?

Thank you.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
Web based Gmail. Only related to GMail. Just started today. We have tested other Gmail accounts on this computer and they work fine. It is only my wife's account that is frozen.

What browser are you using? Internet Explorer? Mozilla FireFox?

Also, is it a freeze that causes your cursor to turn into a blue screen that spins or a time capsule? Or it is a freeze where you can still navigate to other pages but the page never changes?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

Using Internet Explorer.

You can still navigate to other pages. The gmail page says "Loading" at the top when you try to select an email in the Inbox or Sent Mail.

Close all Internet Explorer windows.

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab -> Reset... -> Delete Personal Settings -> Reset -> OK -> OK

Open IE, go to and update me on the results.
