I am not technical. I...
I am not technical. I can't really explain what happened Maybe I've been hit with a virus or something. I'm still at a loss to describe what happened.
For years I had a MozillaFireFox browser in addition to my IE browser that I use as the main browser. I split my workload between the two. This morning Tue 6/29 when I clicked on the Mozilla globe ICON from IE I came up with a completely new page. All my libraries, shortcuts, gone. Nothing recognizable.

In the folder window that comes up, is there any subfolder listed?

Okay ..that's your old Firefox profile. Please copy the xxxxxxxx.default folder to any other location, i.e. desktop. Done that, make sure Firefox is not running, then go to Start > Run, and type in the following :
firefox.exe -p

Does a Profile Manager window come up?

When I try to copy I get response that file is in use and wont copy.

Please close it, then navigate to the location for your profile folder, right-click on the default profile folder and select Copy, and paste it to your desktop.

Just go to Start > Run, and type in the following:
%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

Press ENTER; in the folder window that comes up, your profile folder should be listed.

Not sure what a Profile Manager window is what comes up is a GOOGLE page which seems to be what they're using as a default.
