I need to ask, your making reference to an "update R7", what is this update or program?

I'm sorry. I thought I was using quickbooks support. This is a quickbooks update installation

This error occurs when the Windows registry contains a registry key with an incorrect value in a Data field.

This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. Please read through them all and make absolutely sure that you are comfortable with them before proceeding. Also, backing up the registry is a good idea. The instructions for that are here:

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
  3. In Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
  4. In the right pane, note the values in the Data field of each entry. If any value contains a drive (In your case, the T: drive) that is not correct for your computer, right-click the entry, type c:\my documents in the Value data box, and then click OK.
  5. Repeat step 4 for each entry whose Data value contains an incorrect drive.
  6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each of the following registry keys:
    • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders
  7. Close Registry Editor.
  8. Reboot and then reapply the update.

I know that this is an involved process, but it is the only way to resolve the problem. And again, if you do not feel comfortable, do NOT do it.
