Customer Question

I purchased a new computer with trial version of office installed, also purchased a new Office Pro 2007 Academic. The pre-installed version would not accept my rego key. So I deleted it and installed my version, which worked fine for 2 weeks.
NOW, I cannot open Outlook, message reads : "Cannot start MS Outlook. Cannot open the outlook window".
Have tried diagnostic tool, and repair installation from disc. No luck.
Is this a conflict in registrations? How do I get help?

What is your answer?

Dan :

This happens sometimes when you install updated versions of software. What exactly were the diagnostic tools you ran?

Customer:

MS Office Tools> MS Office diagnostics

Dan :

Ok try this. Click the start button and in the search box type in SCANPST.EXE and hit enter.

Customer:
