I am trying to re-install...
I am trying to re-install Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium after having to in-install for letting the trail period run out without registering the software. Apparently the un-install has un-install something that it wasn't suppose to, so now the only applications that will install is Acrobat Distiller, Professional 8, ExtendedScript and LifeCyle. This has been going on for months. I keep going back trying to reload unsuccessfully. The first few times I tried to reload, I was prompted that there was a folder/file or something that was missing on the system, but of course I don't remember what that was and it doesn't let me know anymore, it just won't install. Any ideas???

Hi,

Run the Windows Installation Cleanup Utility, this will remove the registry entries for the Software. After downloading and installing it, run it and choose Adobe products which you want to uninstall when asked about what program to remove :

After that reinstall.

That did not work. After the installation the applications have a read x beside each, with the exception of Acrobat 8 Professional. The errors are: Component install failed.?????
