Having problems booting up. I...
Having problems booting up. I have gone into Startup Repair and keep getting a message that the Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically. When I send the information about the problem so that Microsoft can create solutions, I need cannot help. It ask to contact my computer manufacturer for assistance.

Please advise what to do. I can not get to the desktop at all.

Restart the computer and tap and press F8 key >

In advanced menu > Choose safe mode >

Let me know, if you can log in safe mode?

Great,

Click on start(left bottom of the screen) >

Type System Restore in search >

Hit enter.

 

In system restore choose a date when everything was running fine >

Continue with the restore process >

Computer will restart after a restore.


Note: You will not loose any data or information during a restoration process.

 

See if that helps, else let me know for further help.

I can not type in system restore. It only gives me a choose to select startup repair or start up automatically with your computer.

no search box. when i get in, a list os windows files are being loaded. then it takes me to windows error recovery. It is saying that windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software may be the cause. Then it goes to startup repair and it can not repair the computer automatically. It suggests to send information about the problem (recommended).

Checking file system on C:

The type of the file system is NTFS.

volume label is SQ004681V03.

One of my disks needs to be checked for consistency. CHKDSK is verifying files (stage 1 of 3)
