Do you want to factory reset it?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
would like to be able to save files if possible
Expert:  Ansh P. replied 7 years ago.
If you do a factory reset, you will loose all files, so backup it before doing a restore. If you have a XP disc, we can save files and reload windows at the sametime. Let me know, which one you want to go for.

lets do the factory reset
Expert:  Ansh P. replied 7 years ago.

Note that this will only work if you have the recovery partition. If its not there you would need a operating system or recovery disc.

Restart the computer >

Keep tapping Ctrl + F11 during the boot process(When the Dell logo etc show up) >

The recovery process will start automatically.

Hope this helps.
