Welcome to Just Answer! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be assisting you.

First, please provide more details so that I can better assist you.

What email program are you using? If using Outlook Express or Outlook then in the email you are about to send, right click on the attachment and click Open and it should open so you can review before sending.

I am not using either Outlook or Outlook Express. Just using Yahoo mail.

So to clarify, you want to view an attachment to a new email you just attached correct?

If so then since the email interface is web based it would have to provide a link to open the file after you have attached it. In this case Yahoo does not provide that link.

So am I correct in understanding that Yahoo does not permit me to perform this task? If not, what wouold you suggest I do to accommodate this? Download Outlook or Outlook Express?
Expert:  David L replied 7 years ago.
Since you have Outlook Express already on the computer because it runs XP, use Outlook Express.
