My hard drive is almost full for no reason. I cannot identify

My hard drive is almost full for no reason.
I cannot identify the files that have taken up 95% of my 360gb hard drive.
this is a new dell laptop.
Have run AV and not id'd any problems.
Can you help?

goto you file explorer and goto c drive and right click and select each file one by one until you find a directory that seems very large then goto the sub folder and do it again and again until you find the file or files.

I have done this.


I navigate to folder "USer" within which is a file called Devon (my son's name).

When I check properties of this folder it says it is 245gb however when going through all the files and folders within this area I cannot see any large files that would constitute 245gb. How can I possibly see "hidden files"

goto tools, folder options goto the veiw tab and show hidden files and folders
