hi why does my toshiba laptop start up by itself sometimes within minutes of shutting down and closing the lid.

When this problem started ?

Since we bought laptop 1 year ago

I think Disabling the “restart on system failure” will solve the problem

To do that, follow these steps

Right-click on My Computer, click Properties, click the Advanced tab. Under “Startup & Recovery,” click Settings. Under “System Failure,” uncheck the box in front of “Automatically restart.”

Now restart the system.

( The cause may be whenever any error occurs , the system shutdowns automatically )
