Thank you for asking Just Answer. We will try to solve your problem

If you're not comfortable with this default Joomla ad, you can delete it by doing the following:

1. In your Joomla admin panel, go to "Components"
2. In the drop-down menu, choose "Banner" and then choose "Banners" (the two are sub-menus are Clients and Categories)
3. Check all the boxes in the list of default ads
4. At the top bar, click "Unpublish"

You shouldn't see the default Joomla ads by then. Now you're done.

i did what you said but the ad is still on the front page of its the google ad on the top and bottom of the page and it comes up all through the database as well. i have no idea who put it there. maybe its not a banner ad. please check and let me try again because i unpublished all the banners as you suggested and its still there. thanks, peter
