HiCustomer- and welcome to Just Answer

The term integration means to bring together elements that are separate from one another, such as the different elements within an application being developed within a structured development environment. The various tasks that an application will carry out are usually assigned to different team members so that the overall focus of the application does not rest on just one persons shoulders. After all the tasks are complete they are intergrated with one another to form as a whole.

Same with the different parts of what you would consider your computer system. You have your machine, a printer, maybe a router, all integrate together to make up your system.

I hope this helps you out
