Here are the steps using Microsoft Paint:

  1. Start Paint, click Image > Stretch/Skew
  2. Under the Stretch heading increase the percentages to the desired size (for example 100 horizontally and 400 vertically to make the canvas take 4 pictures on top of each other) .
  3. Start a second instance of Paint (open another paint program leaving the first one open)
  4. From the second Paint program open the picture you want to add.
  5. Select it and copy it.
  6. Go back to the first opened Paint program and paste the picture there. Move it to where you want to place in the canvas, then click anywhere outside the picture.
  7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 for each new picture you want to add.

Hope this helps.
