Customer Question

Excel help! I just purchase Microsoft Excel 2017 (originally had 2010 version).I'm creating a pivot table with a column of dates (i.e. 4/17/17, 4/18/17, etc.). When I create a pivot table it's automatically setting the date to Quarter, Year and Month. I need it to display the actual Date (i.e. 4/17/17) as I need to group the dates by week. I'm guessing this is just a setting I need to adjust. Please help!

Hello. My name is Michael. I can help you with your question.

I'm sure it won't be as simple as adjusting a setting, but I can take a look for you. Can you please attach the file here using add files, so I can take a look?

I prefer not to share the file.

Also, I never had this issue with Excel 2010. I just started using Excel 2017 this week which is why I feel it's a setting.
