I'm trying to setup a master spreadsheet with all project data in it. Then I want individual project data per sales rep to show up on their own respective spreadsheets that will be protected.

so you want to take each name out of the list, and create a separate sheet for each name with their info?

We would like to have a master sheet, and within there create another sheet with the individual sales people's information pulled to another sheet. So the master would have all sales transactions, but then each sales person would have their own sheet with just their transactions pulled onto. And as the master is changed we would like the individual sales reports to update too.

right i think i get it so for example
say master sheet has
you would have 3 separate sheets for each of them.
Does preserving the formatting matter?
you can two options. Preserve formatting, will run a little slower. Or just copy data, will run faster.
So if you have a lot of rows on master sheet I would suggest just doing data.
