This will be a simple addition to what you have. The product table will contain the unique product ID and the attributes will not necessarily be unique. So one column can be the category ID which will reference the category name. Then you just have to join the category ID Column of the products table with the category table. If you will be including more than one category for product, you will have to have multiple values in the category field or you can have multiple category fields. However, in less you havea compelling reason to put multiple values per column,I would strongly recommend against it. No new implementationshould contain multiple values in the field.
