I have a column of numbers ranging from 2 to 29. I would like it to show any number 18 or above as 18, and any number below 18 as it's actual value. How?

Tech_Ben :

Thank you for the question. Are you using Excel?

Customer:

yes

Customer:

I've tried an IF statement but can't figure how to get it to reflect the actual number is XXXXX 18.

Tech_Ben :

You can use a formula like this on the cell: =IF(A2>18,"18",A2)

Tech_Ben :

That just translates to, if the number is XXXXX than 18, show its value, otherwise show 18

Customer:

If this works, cant thank you enough

Customer:

Tech_Ben :

Sure, let me know what you find

Customer:

I'll get off now and try it. How do I let you know if it doesn't work?
