Assignment 3: Inventory Tracking System
As a database administrator, you are asked to create the appropriate database architecture to solve the following problem:
A system needs to keep track of inventory and book orders. The system should include information about each book being sold, the price of the book, author, and publisher. Furthermore, the system needs to be able to display orders made by customers, the order should contain an order number, the books purchased under that order, the cost of each book, and the total cost.
Suggest a solution to solve this problem. Define the tables, keys, and SQL instructions needed to build such system. Submit your solution to the W4: Assignment 3 Dropbox by Sunday, January 29, 2012.
Then, discuss your solution in this Discussion Area by the end of the week.
