I am having a lot of problems with my TiVo service. Two Suddenlink phone technicians tried to fix the problem without success. Yesterday a Suddenlinc technician was sent to my home and when I showed him the problem he showed me his cell phone app and said that it indicates that technicians are installing a “node” to solve a problem in my area. He said that the work should be fixed within a couple of weeks. I should mention that I contract with Suddenlink for my landline phone and computer and those are both working fine. The technician told me that replacing my router right now will not solve my TiVo problem. I spoke to a neighbor yesterday and she told me that she is not having any problems with her TV service which is also provided by Suddenlink. While I can watch regular TV I cannot access the “What to watch” features, music, “FindTV, Movies, and Videos, and the guide page shows “To Be Announced” without any listings. I am wondering if you can verify whether or not the “node” replacement is occurring in my neighborhood and when my issues will be resolved. Thank you. … read more
