Hello my name is ***** ***** I have been assigned to your case. When you followed the steps that Suhasini gave you did the WAN/LAN light come back on? If it didnt are you able to see your wireless network when trying to access it from your laptop or desktop computer?

Network Technician: Sergil Cave, System Administrator replied 3 months ago

Also do you have anything plugged into the LAN ports on your LUXUL ABR-4400 router?

Hello were you able to check those things for me?

Ask Your Own Networking Question

All lights are blinking now. I have the wireless router and boosters in the LAN ports.
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
The incoming internet service seems to be extreemly slow.
Network Technician: Sergil Cave, System Administrator replied 3 months ago

Okay, is the wireless router from the Internet Service provider?

Ask Your Own Networking Question
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
No, the internet service provider is Hotwire, the router is a LUXUL ABR 4400.
Network Technician: Sergil Cave, System Administrator replied 3 months ago

Ah okay, you stated that it was your wireless that was going in and out. Do you have anything hard-wired into the router? If you do are they able to get Internet? Also so I can get an idea of your setup, did Hotwire provide you with a modem or were they ones who supplied you with the LUXUL ABR 4400?

Ask Your Own Networking Question
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
I AM ABLE TO GET TO THE INTERNET RIGHT NOW BUT COULD LOSE IT ANYTIME. MY TV IS CONNECTED AND MY COMPUTER IS ON LINE.
HOTWIRE DID NOT SUPPLY A MODEM.
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
I AM NOT ABLE TO PRINT LARGE DOCUMENTS BECAUSE THE NETWORK DOESN'T SEEM TO FIND THE PRINTER. I CAN PRINT ONE PAGERS.
Network Technician: Sergil Cave, System Administrator replied 3 months ago

I am guessing that the printer is also hooked into the wireless network?

Network Technician: Sergil Cave, System Administrator replied 3 months ago

Okay, how frequently do you lose connection while connected to your wireless network? Are you in a particular place in the house when you lose Internet via wireless? Also are you able to connect to your Wireless router via a web browser?

Ask Your Own Networking Question
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
IT ISN'T CONSISTENT, SOMETIMES GOOD BUT SOMETIMES LOSE IT EVERY OFTEN. DOESN'T SEEM TO BE LOCATION RELATED.
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
I CAN CONNECT VIA WEB BROWSER.
Network Technician: Sergil Cave, System Administrator replied 3 months ago

Okay great, reason I asked is there might be firmware for your wireless router that you can install that might fix the wireless issues. Just to confirm your wireless router is the LUXUL ABR 4400 or is it another brand?
