I have a Canon...

I have a Canon laser printer (very old) that just stopped working on my net gear router. All I get is a message like "error printing to MF230 Printer". I tried disconnecting the printer from the router and connecting it with a printer cable but got the same message.

Technician's Assistant: How are you connecting to your Canon printer: wirelessly or by USB?

Wireless

Technician's Assistant: When did you last update the printer driver software?

Today

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Printer Expert to know before I connect you?

No...my next step will be to take the printer and laptop into Best Buy to let them figure it out
