Hi. I'm on the Central Coast NSW, Hamlyn Terrace 2259. There was a major electrical storm right over head last night which reselted in some very near savage strikes. Our NBN connection went down, we have no NBN line connection still this morning. One of our computers looks like it suffered a seizure, just wondering how robust is the modem? Currently working on my laptop using my mobile as the hot spot.

Technician's Assistant: Are you able to connect using an ethernet cable?

That's all ways been the way. Have not used wifi connection.

Technician's Assistant: Which lights are colored and/or blinking on your router?

Wifi is on, steady. Power is on, steady. DSL is gren, flashing. No other lights on.

Technician's Assistant: Anything else you want the Network Expert to know before I connect you?

No just wondering if there was a NBN failure because of the storm.

This is not a question you can answer. By mistake I thought you were connect to Optus because you ad came up on their URL. I have been in touch with Optus via live chat and discovered there is a fault with the NBN land line, that's why there is no service. I would appreciate your refund to my credit account ASAP. Thanks
