Slow optimum just left my house they said i need to configure my router for it to be up to speed with my network....totally lost

Technician's Assistant: Who makes your router?

I have a linksus AC1750 MU-MIMO gigabit router i bought it at best buy has 1.7 GBps dul band whatever all that means

Technician's Assistant: What have you tried so far?

Nothing really he was here an hour i have no idea what this guy did but we still have the problem we keep getting bump off the network from tv and lap top

Nope just that they said we needed to configure the router to be up to speed and we have no idea what that means
