After hooking up a new monitor, I noticed my Netgear had dropped my NETGEAR84 network. I have tried many times to get it back without any luck.

If you tried power cycling your Netgear appliance, by unplugging and replugging back the power cable, and if that still didn't work. The next steps might be a factory reset:

Before attempting a factory reset, make sure that your router is on.

To perform a factory reset:

  1. On the back of your router, locate the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button.
  2. Using a paper clip or similar object, press and hold the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button for about seven seconds.
  3. Release the Restore Factory Settings or Reset button and wait for your router to reboot.
    After your router is finished with the factory reset, the Power light stops blinking and lights solid green.
    Note: The Power light on newer router models lights solid white.
    The factory default settings are restored.

I tried your suggestions and still have the same problem. When I switched out a couple cables, it came back. Now it tells me I am not connected to my router when I do the routerlogin.net. I will continue working on this myself as I know there would be additional charges. I dispute the current charges and would like them taken off my credit card.
